“Réseau” – Collaboration with Le Mobilier National
I am happy to start in 2020 a new collaboration work with The Mobilier National and The National Workshop of Alençon Lace (l’Atelier National du point d’Alençon, patrimoine immatériel de l’Unesco). The National Workshop of Alençon is a part of the Intangible Culturel Heritage of UNESCO since 2010. Actually, there are less than 10 lace makers in the world, perpetrating the tradition of Alençon Lace, the finest of the world and entirely handmade. I am so honoured to work with the most talented craftmanship.
Je suis heureuse de vous annoncer la création d’une œuvre en collaboration avec Le Mobilier National et l’Atelier National de la Dentelle d’Alençon. La Dentelle d’Alençon fait partie du patrimoine culturel immatériel de l’UNESCO depuis 2010. Le projet prendra un peu de temps puisqu’il faut plusieurs semaines de travail pour une dentelière pour fabriquer quelques centimètres carrés de dentelle!
